Free remedial courses for students of the basic and general secondary education certificates in all governorates

The Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO”, announced the start of implementing strengthening courses for pupils and students of the basic and secondary education certificates in both scientific and literary branches in all governorates.

And the ministry indicated in a statement that SANA received a copy of it today that the courses will start from tomorrow until the 24th of next April on Friday and Saturday every week.

The Director of Basic Education at the Ministry, Dr. Rami Al-Dahli, explained in a statement to the delegate of SANA that the remedial courses are free for students of the two degrees and will be on Friday and Saturday from 8 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon, indicating that the subjects included in the course are for the ninth grade (Arabic, English, French, Mathematics and General Sciences).

In turn, the director of secondary education in the ministry, Jaafar al-Nasr, stated in a similar statement that 140 centers have been distributed in various governorates to hold the courses, provided that the focus is on the areas most in need and targeting students who have an educational loss, pointing out that it will include 35,750 students and students at an average of 144 lessons that include materials (Mathematics, Arabic, English, French, Natural Sciences, Physics and Chemistry) for high school diploma students, the scientific branch. As for the literary branch, it includes subjects (Arabic, English, French, philosophy, history and geography).
