ManoMano: 2020 revenues fly over 1 billion, confidence on 2021

Sales of Manomano, the marketplace specializing in do-it-yourself, DIY and gardening, are flying, closing 2020 with 1.2 billion in revenues, double compared to 2019 (620 million euros).

The French company is confidently looking to 2021, also expecting to hire 350 resources at European level to reach 1,000 employees by the end of the year.

Italy, second market for Manomano, is among the leading countries of this growth with a turnover doubled to 130 million euros in 2020. Results achieved also thanks to the recent launch of 'ManoMano Pro', the version of the dedicated marketplace exclusively to home professionals (electricians, plumbers, architects and bricklayers), and to the construction of the first Italian logistics center, in Cremona in Lombardy.

Satisfied with having exceeded the set target of 1 billion euros at the end of 2020, the two founders and co-CEOs of ManoMano, Philippe de Chanville and Christian Raisson, highlight how the group "was able, during this very special year, to meet the growing demand for digitization among European consumers for do-it-yourself, garden and home ".

This, "thanks to the commitment of our team, our technological infrastructure and the quality of relations with our commercial partners." To date, ManoMano e-commerce has 50 million unique visitors per month (+ 70% compared to to 2019) and 7 million active customers (+ 100%), with a growth of 140% on ManoMano Pro, the offer for professionals. Among the strengths, the largest catalog in Europe for do-it-yourself , gardening and home furnishings, with 10 million products offered. "2021 promises to be a year of consolidation of offers and services for our customers and business partners.

It will also be a year of acceleration, especially for the international development of the United Kingdom and Germany, and of consolidation for Southern Europe, where we hope to be able to contribute to the digitization process of local companies in our sector ", explains Céline Vuillequez, Coo of ManoMano . As for Italy, with the opening of the logistics hub and the platform reserved for Italian construction professionals, "we have completed our offer on the local market: we look to 2021 with confidence, confident of offering Italian consumers the best customer experience possible in the Home Improvement sector ".

Also in 2021 ManoMano will continue to invest in technology and consultancy to offer the best experience to its customers.
