They called him into the room, and there on the table a closed box was waiting for him that Roy had been asked to open.
To the great surprise of the boy, he discovered a tiny, sweet dachshund puppy inside.
Roy hurried to hug the puppy, who in turn was also enthusiastic about the new friend he had discovered.
