Düren: Police dog seriously injured five

A police dog bitten and seriously injured a five-year-old boy in North Rhine-Westphalia.

According to a police press release, the incident took place on Thursday afternoon when the officer from Düren was taking a private walk.

According to this, the policewoman was out with her dog near the Berzbuir district of Düren when the dog bit a child in the arm for reasons that were not yet clear.

The five-year-old was traveling with his mother and was taken to a hospital, where he is being treated as an inpatient.
