After the exploit of last December for the inauguration of the season with the success of the 'Barber of Seville' directed by Daniele Gatti shot, in the Costanzi Theater without audience directed by Mario Martone, the musical institution of the Capital relaunches with 'LaTraviata', always with his musical director on the podium and with Martone who also signs the scenes in which the international cast of prestigious performers formed by LisetteOropesa, Saimur Pirgu and Roberto Frontali moves.
The new show, also recorded without an audience, will be broadcast by Rai3 in prime time in April on a date yet to be established.
Verdi's masterpiece, taken from La Dame aux camélias by Alexandre Dumas son, is the fourth new opera production produced by the Opera House since the beginning of the Covid emergency after Rigoletto last summer at the Circus Maximus and Zaide, by Mozart, three months later at the Costanzi .
The setting up of the opera on a libretto by Francesco Maria Piave is embellished with costumes by Anna Biagiotti and photography by PasqualeMari.
