(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 06 - "I am aware of what we are all going through: we would be happy to do Sanremo with an empty audience but to be able to bring people to the theater and cinema again".
After the controversy over the possible presence of the public at the Ariston, then canceled in the security protocol set up by Rai and approved by the CTS, Amadeus launches his appeal for the reopening of cinemas and theaters.
"If closing the Ariston can serve to reopen theaters and cinemas we are very happy, because they must be reopened", said the artistic director and conductor in connection with Italiasì, the program conducted by Marco Liorni on Rai1. "We try to do the festival even without an audience, our enthusiasm is knowing that many people follow us at home", he stressed. "We have to be careful, there is a very strict protocol, but we have to find a balance between fighting the pandemic and getting back to life: and I think not stopping the music is fundamental. For this reason we will do five evenings in an unusual way but with the same enthusiasm as always". (HANDLE).
