(ANSA) - YANGON, 07 FEB - Internet access has been partially restored in Burma. This was stated by NetBlocks, the non-governmental organization that controls information security and internet governance.
Internet connections were partially restored after being cut off for several days following the coup against the civilian government of Aung San Suu Kyi, Netblocks reports. The national blockade of the web and social media has not managed to curb public indignation and massive protests against the coup and even today, thousands of people have poured into the streets to protest.
