The owners of a tourist complex of cabins decided to close their doors to visitors, canceled all reservations and made the place available to the brigade members who are fighting the forest fire in El Bolsón, Río Negro.

The property is located at kilometer 1923 of National Route 40 and is owned by the Ramos family.

At the entrance there is a sign that says: "

Come eat and rest

", intended for brigade members and neighbors who maintain an unequal fight against fire.

A huge gesture of solidarity in the face of the disaster that the fire is producing in that area.

“We spoke with my husband and when the last tourists left we decided to make the facilities available to the brigade members and non-brigade members.

Because in this fire, in this disaster, not only are the brigades working, but also entire families, individuals and firefighters ”.

so that those heroes could come to rest for a while

, take a bath, have a drink.

It is the least we can do because since January 24, when this fire started, they have not stopped, "he said.

The woman added: "That is why this week we called people who had reservations to tell them that we are not going to rent and we returned the money. So we believe that we are contributing to our beloved El Bolsón. Because thanks to this place we have work. So we have to take care of it ”.

El Bolsón and some towns in the Chubut mountain range such as Lago Puelo and El Hoyo are suffering forest fires that have devoured thousands of hectares of forests and have forced the evacuation of families.
