These chips consist of three ingredients

After the kale has been broken down into its individual leaves, washed and patted dry, you only need two additional ingredients:

sunflower oil

spices

There is no specific amount of sunflower oil.

Some like a little more, others use a little less.

Kale Chips Recipe: The Ingredients

  • 200 g fresh kale

  • Sunflower oil

  • Spices (of your choice)

Kale Chips Recipe: How to Prepare

  • First of all, the leaves must be cut off from the kale, washed and carefully patted dry on kitchen paper.

    Note: The stalk of the individual leaves can, but does not have to be, removed.

  • Put a little olive oil over the kale in a large bowl - it shouldn't be drowned in it, play with the crowd yourself.

    Now add the spices of your choice.

    (Either use a mixture of individual spices such as salt, paprika powder etc. or a ready-made mixture of spices).

    The same applies here as with oil: do not overdo it!

  • Preheat the oven to 130 degrees and place a baking sheet with parchment paper on the bottom rail.

    Place the grid in the middle rail and place the leaves on top (not on top of each other!).

    Who operates with the grill: use a Koncisform and work with indirect heat.

  • Let it dry for 30 minutes.

    The oven must be slightly open for this.

    The same applies to the grill lid.

  • After about 30 minutes, let the chips cool down briefly on kitchen paper and then consume.
