The Higher Education Council approved the settlement of medical students in universities who failed in clinical interviews in the academic year 2019-2020 and who applied to the unified medical examination (November 2020 session) and approved their results in it after their success in the clinical interviews and granted them graduation documents.
In a decision that SANA received today from the Department of Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the council requested compliance with the provisions of its Resolution No. 383 of 2020 and not allowing students to apply to national examinations except upon nomination from their universities.
In another decision, the council allowed registered students in accordance with the provisions of Article 103 of the Implementing Regulations of the Universities Organization Law to pay fees for university services in three installments, provided that these installments are paid before the start of the second semester exams of the academic year, and the student is not entitled to enter the second semester exams unless he is paid All fees due on him.
In another decision, the Council agreed to approve the study of students registered in non-Syrian accredited educational institutions and who pursued their studies according to the e-learning system (remotely) during the period of the Corona pandemic according to several specific conditions, provided that the equivalence of the certificate obtained by the student takes into account the principles of equivalent degrees and the defense of The thesis (remote) is in the postgraduate stage, in the event that this is done during the period of the Corona pandemic, provided that these procedures are in effect until 8-15-2021.
