For the purposes of the script, the window of a Boston restaurant where she was, accompanied by Timothée Chalamet, was shattered.
Unfortunately, being too close to the incident, pieces of glass reached his face, causing an eyelid injury.
“
Jennifer's eyelid was cut off and the blood kept flowing,”
TMZ reported.
The 30-year-old actress was quickly rescued by emergencies and filming was suspended.
However, a source told American media that her condition was not critical and that she would be back on set on Monday.
A cast of choice
Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Adam McKay's, the film examines the story of two poor astronomers, played by Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Making a huge discovery, the two embark on a media tour to warn humanity of an impending natural disaster, caused by a comet heading straight for Earth.
