Amid great expectations about who would accompany the artist on stage, the three-time Grammy winner kicked off his performance aboard a car from where he performed 'Starboy' and then 'The Hills'.
Accompanied by fireworks and an incredible light show, the Canadian moved through various points of the stadium.
Hits like 'Can't Feel My Face', 'I Feel It Coming', 'Save Your Tears' and 'Earned It' were part of the repertoire.
Later, The Weeknd appeared in the middle of the court from where he put everyone to dance with 'Blinding Lights', accompanied by an army of dancers dressed in red jackets and a white mask.
