"2021 is a crucial year for the future of the planet. The actions that states will collectively undertake in the coming months will strongly impact the global response to climate change, the biodiversity crisis and the pace of the green transition. Italy is fully committed to this front as president of the G20 and in the framework of the partnership with the United Kingdom for COP26 ".

"We are carrying out close consultations with all international partners to ensure that the pre-Cop26 in Milan prepares the ground for a change of pace in Glasgow - he added - The Italian approach aims to actively involve all actors, to starting with young people. With the UN envoy for Youth, we have just launched the call to select the young people who will participate in the 'Youth for Climate: Driving ambition' event, from 28 to 30 September in Milan ".
