(ANSA) - LONDON, FEBRUARY 09 - Not only mega fines, but also criminal consequences in GB starting next week for possible recidivist violations of the new reinforced anti-Covid regulations imposed on those traveling in the country in order to limit the risk of importing variants of the coronavirus . This was announced by Minister Matt Hancock, evoking pecuniary penalties from 500 to 10,000 pounds for offenders and up to 10 years in prison for repeat offenders. Travelers arriving from 33 countries (excluding Italy) who are required to isolate themselves in supervised hotels, and not at home, will also be charged a fee of 1750 pounds for food, accommodation, transport and testing.
