According to Magen Israel's proposal, in the second phase of the relief (the first took effect upon leaving the quarantine), which is expected to take effect on February 23, the green label will be activated for the first time, including open-air malls and malls, gyms, cultural events, , Libraries and hotels (rooms only, no activity beyond that).

The condition for this - three million vaccinated in the second dose, a vaccination rate of 90% among people over 50, the number of patients less severe than 900 and a coefficient of infection less than 1.
"There is a fairly close horizon here for the opening of the economy, which is conditional on us being able to control the disease and, of course, progress with the vaccination campaign," said Prof. Ash.
"There is definitely light here at the end of the tunnel of opening the economy and returning to activity - all under very responsible behavior - masks, unification, convergence constraints. The light at the end of the tunnel exists, the tunnel is still very challenging."
Prof. Ash on the figure of 900 patients is difficult: "I have to say that I do it with apprehension. If we stay in this number for a long time, it is a big burden. I hope it is a number that will continue to decline.
