Telemundo to Present 6th Annual 'Latin American Music Awards'

The three-hour special will be hosted by the renowned actress and host Jacqueline Bracamontes, who returns to present the awards.


Telemundo

announced today that the 6th Annual “

Latin American Music Awards

” is back and will take place on Thursday, April 15 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.

The “

Latin AMAs

”, which were on hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic, will be broadcast live on Telemundo beginning at 7 pm/6c with “La Alfombra de Latin AMAs” and followed at 8 pm/7c by the awards.

The great event will pay tribute to the most influential and iconic Latin artists of today, as voted by fans in the same tradition of the “American Music Awards”, the award of the largest number of voting fans in the world.

Jacqueline Bracamontes

, who is returning to present the award for the second time.

Bracamontes is one of the most important figures in Latin American entertainment.

The Mexican star, who was the host of “La voz” México for five seasons, joined Telemundo as host of the sports and entertainment program, “Viva el Mundial y más”, offering all the events and current affairs of the World Cup of the FIFA Russia 2018 ™.

He returned to the Telemundo screen to host the two seasons of "La voz", and currently has a special participation in "La luck de Loli."

Throughout her career, she has starred in several successful novels such as “Las tontas no van al cielo”, “Heridas de amor” and “Sortilegio”, among others, as well as hosting several programs and television specials in Spanish.
