Supported by other demonstrators, Julie's mother (
assumed

) came to ask the Court of Cassation to reclassify as "rape" alleged acts of "sexual assault" on her daughter, aged 13 to 15 years. , at the material time in 2009. And this while the examination of the cassation appeal must take place this Wednesday.

In this case, three firefighters are indicted, while Julie's family accuses a total of twenty firefighters.
The three men were initially indicted for rape and sexual assault on a 15-year-old minor in a meeting, an offense punishable by assizes.
But in July 2019, the judge had finally reclassified the facts as "sexual abuse, without violence, coercion, threat or surprise on a fifteen-year-old minor by several people" and ordered their referral to correctional.
A decision which provoked incomprehension and the anger of the relatives and supporters of Julie.
