Úrsula Bahillo, 18, was stabbed to death in the rural area of Guido Spano.
Martínez had been denounced for gender violence and the Justice had imposed a
restraining order
on February 5.
The Rojas police "apprehended the suspect in flagrante delicto, who served in the Covico Detachment of the San Nicolás party, but was on a psychiatric license for about five months," reported El Tiempo Pergamino.
In TN they added that after the crime, the man would have tried to commit suicide with the same knife used in the murder, for which he remains admitted to a hospital in Pergamino.
Úrsula Bahillo told her friends that seven months ago, Matías Ezequiel Martínez beat her, that he always kept quiet and that he had threatened her.
The girl's mother said that the Women's Police Station had refused to take a complaint from them because it was the weekend.

The victim's friends mobilized on Monday night to accompany the family in front of the police station and used social networks to expose how Úrsula told them about the gender violence she suffered from her ex-partner.

Úrsula's friends shared the chats where she told them that Matías Ezequiel Martínez had hit her.

In another tweet published by @ MilagrosO_5, there is a screenshot of Úrsula's WhatsApp messages from November 19 where the girl says: “I'm shaking.
