primary and secondary students.

The schedule approved by the Provincial Council of Education provides for the opening of public and private schools (there are 16 thousand services throughout the territory) on Wednesday, February 17, for students who had problems completing their training in quarantine and for those who must render matters owed.

Each establishment determines the days and hours of activity for that group.

March 1 will be the debut of the school year in the centers that dictate the initial and primary level.

March 8 for high school students.

Thus, almost 80% of the students registered in the provincial system are completed.

The first to start, then, are the students who had difficulties to maintain the bond in 2020 who were without attending the establishments.

And also those boys who - still connected - failed to achieve the pedagogical objectives of the cycle.

They represent, according to the Provincial General Directorate of Schools, just over 5% of the total enrollment of the primary and middle levels of the Bonarense educational system.

those who attend private institutes with state subsidies.

The return will also reach adolescents who "took matters".

In education, they explained that the activities were organized "in person and not in person".

"The face-to-face activities will be in days of a maximum of four hours, with small groups, and, of course, also according to the epidemiological situation," explains the Directorate of Schools, Agustina Vila.

These are some of the guidelines established for the reintegration of children and adolescents.

The entry and exit of the school will be at alternate times for the different groups.

There will be reduced hours for students (3 and a half hours maximum), with more class time for the "prioritized" years of study.

During the first stage, the maximum day of stay at the school will be 2 hours.

"The face-to-face classes will be organized in blocks of a maximum duration of 90 minutes, separated from each other by a rest time that lasts 15 minutes. During that period, the students and teachers will have to carry out personal hygiene and the ventilation of the rooms. stage, there will be a single block of classes of an hour and a half, without recess ", explained in Schools.

The protocol approved by the Province contemplates the possibility of modifying this scheme depending on the number of Covid-19 cases that each district or each school registers.

To sustain the "new educational normality" the government of Axel Kicillof decided to reinforce the teaching staff in 2021. And a program that it imposed last year will be maintained to replace educators or assistants who are part of risk groups or became ill.

To start the 2021 cycle, 212 thousand clock hours of teaching were incorporated, which is equivalent to the task of 21 thousand teachers.

Each school has at least 4 modules (class hours) to reinforce teaching for three months.

It does not imply - in all cases - the hiring of more agents.

The modules can be complementary to the salary of the teachers who carry out the intensification activities.

Public events will be held to "take" those hours in cases where the school's teaching staff is not enough to carry out these intensification tasks.

This mechanism applies to public and private subsidized companies.

Kicillof announced a budget reinforcement of 1,450 million for the first face the salaries of February, March and April.

The “escalation” will end on March 31 for primary and April 30 for secondary.

“After the intensification period,

Without opposition from the unions, the presence with the protocols approved by the Federal Council of Education will continue with the formal start of the school year, on March 1.

This week, Kicillof signed joint resolution No. 415-2021, which in article 1 establishes "face-to-face activity in educational establishments in all districts of the province of Buenos Aires."

The regulations clarify that "teachers and assistants" over 65 years of age and patients at risk of immunosuppression or chronic diseases continue to be exempt from the obligation to attend the workplace in person.

And it is clarified that in the districts or establishments in which face-to-face classes are suspended for epidemiological reasons, the delivery of food modules and printed materials must be ensured, as well as the continuity of infrastructure works and cleaning and disinfection tasks.
