Unicredit: Mustier leaves, de Marchis dg until Orcel arrives

(ANSA) - MILAN, 10 FEB - The board of UniCredit has agreed with Jean Pierre Mustier to terminate the employment relationship in advance - as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of UniCredit - as of tomorrow 11 February 2021.

   While Ranieri de Marchis has been appointed General Manager and will remain in office until the appointment of the new managing director, Andrea Orcel. de Marchis will also retain his position as Group Chief Operating Officer.

    All this matured "in consideration of the identification of Andrea Orcel as a candidate for the position of CEO at the next Shareholders' Meeting" in April and "of the approval of the results as at 31 December 2020". (HANDLE).
