She is about to celebrate this Thursday… her 117 years.
Sister André, Lucile Randon, her real name, was born on February 11, 1904. She is the dean of France and Europe.
A longevity that has notably seen her go through two world wars and know 19 different Presidents.
More recently, in January, Sister André was also affected by Covid-19, like many other residents of her nursing home in Toulon (Var).
“I didn't know I had it, I didn't feel anything and I slept,” she explains.

And on the menu, his favorite dessert: the Norwegian omelette.
