The Tin Man, the Scarecrow and the Scared Lion are characters that every child in the USA knows.
In 1900 they appeared for the first time in the first publication of Lyman Frank Baum's book of fairy tales "The Wizard of Oz" ("The Wizard of Oz").
The story of the farmer's daughter Dorothy, who is on her way to the Wizard of Oz with her little dog Toto, has been filmed several times since then.
The most famous cinema version dates back to 1939, the leading actress was Judy Garland, then 16 years old.
The film won two Academy Awards, including the title track "Over the Rainbow".

Now the material is to be filmed again.
Nicole Kassell, who previously made a name for herself as a progressive stylist through her work on the HBO series "Watchmen", will act as the director.
"The musical from 1939 is part of my DNA," said Kassell, as reported by the industry magazine "Variety".
She is very happy to tell this legendary fairy tale about topics such as courage, love, wisdom and home.
Initially, nothing was known about the possible cast and the start of shooting for the new edition.
