Pandemic effects of smart working in the courtroom.

It's unbelievable what happened in Texas and then went viral on the web.

Some have nicknamed it Cat Zoom.

Here's the thing: A Texas attorney appeared in the likeness of a talking cat during a Zoom call with a judge, a hilarious video conferencing incident.

There was an application of those that modify the traits, a filter in this case centered on felines: the lawyer Rod Ponton was speaking to Judge Roy Ferguson but he seemed to come out of Puss in Boots.

"I believe you have a filter activated in the video settings," the judge said very sympathetic.

Ponton - his voice seemed to be uttered by an increasingly anxious white kitten - asked "Can you hear me, Judge?"

The judge responded by saying "I can hear you. I think it's a filter ..." "It is" said the cat nodding!

"And I don't know how to remove it. I have my assistant here, she's trying, but I'm ready to go on ... I'm here alive. I'm not a cat."

The judge replied "I see it," before sending out a tweet stating that the incident underscored the legal profession's dedication to justice despite the challenges presented by Covid-19.

Ponton, who appeared in a civil hearing, told the US media "if I can make the country laugh for a moment in these troubled times they are going through, I'm happy to let them do it at my expense."
