(ANSA) - PARIS, 11 FEB - "More than 300 cases of mutations attributable to the South African and Brazilian variants" have been identified in Moselle (eastern France, border with Germany): the French Minister of Health announced this evening in a press conference, Olivier Véran, admitting that "at the moment we have no explanation for the spread of these variations" in the region.
Véran admitted that the situation is "worrying" and announced his visit tomorrow "to the department where the incidence is so higher than average". The cases of variant recorded in Moselle do not correspond to "clusters" but to isolated cases. (HANDLE).
