(ANSA) - WARSAW, 11 FEB - Marta Lempart, leader of the women's protest in Poland against the abortion law, has been accused of organizing a demonstration violating anti-coronavirus laws and faces up to eight years in prison.
This was reported by a spokesman for the prosecutor, adding that Lempart is also accused of "insulting the police and supporting the attacks on churches".
At the end of January, the 'Women's Strike' movement, of which Lempart is one of the leaders, took to the streets of Poland to protest against a law that almost totally bans abortion. (HANDLE).
