More than 81,000 deaths in France since the start of the pandemic.
This Friday, Public Health France posted a toll of 320 new deaths due to Covid-19, as well as 20,701 additional cases of contamination in 24 hours.
In detail, 320 deaths have been counted in the last 24 hours in hospital, and 325 in social and medico-social establishments, such as nursing homes, since Tuesday.
In total, 81,448 patients have died from Covid-19 in France since the appearance of the new coronavirus in our territory.
At the hospital, precisely, 26,424 patients are currently treated as a result of an infection, against 26,963 on Thursday, and 27,572 last Friday.
Of this total, 3,298 serious cases are in intensive care, against 3,327 Thursday and 3,235 Friday.
20,701 new cases
Santé Publique France also counts 20,701 new positive tests for the new coronavirus, against 21,063 Thursday and 22,139 seven days ago.

In terms of vaccinations, the Directorate General of Health announced this Friday that it had carried out 85,429 new first injections as well as 81,940 second injections, bringing the total of new injections in 24 hours to 167,369. In total, 2,838,477 injections were were given in France as part of the vaccination against Covid-19, including 2,220,762 first injections.
These are therefore 617,715 people who have finalized their vaccination against the disease in France.
