Stock market: Tokyo, opening slightly up (+ 0.23%)

The Tokyo Stock Exchange begins cautious trading after yesterday's holiday on fears of global equity markets overheating following the ongoing Wall Street tracking. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - TOKYO, 12 FEB - The Tokyo Stock Exchange starts trading in the name of caution after yesterday's day of public holidays, on fears of an overheating of global stock markets following the tracing underway on WallStreet.

At the opening, the Nikkei recorded a slightly positive change of 0.23% at 29,405.97, adding 67 points.


   On the foreign exchange market, the yen trades at 104.70 against the dollar and just above 127 against the euro.
