The regional court of Flensburg has sentenced the defendant in the Nathalie case to life imprisonment.

After an extensive circumstantial trial, the criminal chamber saw it as proven that the now 47-year-old Nathalie M. from North Frisia murdered.

The 23-year-old woman was initially missing in August 2019.

Two weeks later, her body was found on the edge of a dirt road near the Danish border and where the defendant lived.

The defendant was silent about the allegations

According to investigations, the man and the 23-year-old met on a dating platform on the Internet, on which Nathalie M. prostituted herself.

On August 17, 2019, they agreed to have sex.

The defendant killed the woman on a remote forest path in Schafflund.

The board ruled out that Nathalie M. provoked the man and that there was an act of affect.

The defendant did not comment on the allegations until the end.
