36 people have died in the last day from the corona virus, according to data from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Saturday).
Thus, the death toll from the virus in Israel stands at 5,340 people.

According to the data, 67,143 tests for the virus were performed yesterday, a high figure compared to Fridays, and 4,595 of the tests came out positive, so that the rate of positive results stands at 7.1%.
Since midnight, 16,457 tests have been performed, 1,368 of which have been positive - and the positive result rate is 8.3%.
There are currently 60,956 active Corona patients in Israel, 1,540 of whom are hospitalized throughout the country.
992 of the patients are hospitalized in critical condition, 388 in critical condition and 296 respirators.
721,759 residents of the test have been infected with the virus since the plague broke out.
3,820,505 people received the first dose of the vaccine (41.46% of the total population), and 2,453,631 received the second dose of the vaccine (26.63% of the total population).
In addition, 1,703 medical staff members are currently verified as viral, 93 of whom are male and female doctors and 416 are brothers and sisters.
