The soloist no longer sings

At 9:05 pm, on France 3. A

student passionate about music, Sabrya sings in a choir.

But one evening, while cycling home after a rehearsal, she was hit by a car before being stabbed to death.

The captain of the gendarmerie Caroline Dubreuilh is holding her first murder case here.

Commander Louis Kléber, close to retirement and limping after receiving two bullets in the leg, decides to support him by using his experience.

Shot in Marseille, "the Mysteries of the choir" expands the collection of detective films from France 3. The scenario here plays a lot with all the secrets of the various protagonists, suspects or investigators and the whole is well put together even if for once the revelation of the culprit is not really surprising.

The original songs written for fiction are not very successful and the playback where the voice of the actors is replaced by that of real singers is still seen a lot.

Fortunately, the musical side of this fiction is supported only at the beginning and at the end, the heart of the intrigue resting especially on the dynamics of the duo of cops.

At this level, Maud Baecker, 32, who plays Captain Dubreuilh, is struggling to win alongside Nicolas Marié, who lends his features to Louis Kléber.

The 66-year-old actor is excellent at a gruff old man but also weakened by personal injuries.

His abrupt manners give rise to delightful scenes and it is really he who gives all its salt to this fiction which unfolds touching themes.

Fascinating black holes

Images of striking beauty.

NHK / Autentic

At 8.50 p.m., in Arte.

The exploration of the cosmos conceals a part of poetry if we listen to researchers who tell us about life and its origins.

“We are made of stardust,” says one in the first part of this gripping documentary and strikingly beautiful in these images.

"The appearance of life goes hand in hand with the existence of black holes," said another.

"Supernovæ are our mothers and black holes are our fathers," adds the first ...

To follow the reasoning, the research and the phenomenal material deployed across the planet to observe and understand these celestial bodies, realizing thanks to this film, dense but accessible, that it exists everywhere in the universe, in equal proportions thanks to to black holes precisely, all the biochemical elements constituting and necessary for each living being, then this discourse, as fascinating and vertiginous as it is, is audible.

And quite magical.

Full head

At 9:05 pm on France 2.

Here is a Big Head totally bluffing and undoubtedly less schoolboy than his comrades.

Paul El Kharrat, an autistic student with Asperger's with incredible memory, with 153 victories on the show "Les Douze coups de midi" takes part for the first time in the show on the set on France 2. He excels at discovering the names of characters little known, like Casimir Delavigne, a 19th century poet and playwright.

It is amazing how quickly he recognizes the face of a comic, in the form of a scattered puzzle.

The presence of the young genius does not prevent the jokes, quite funny, which do not pass below the level of the belt.

Guests like Chimène Badi, Booder, Stéphane Plaza, Roberto Alagna and Hélène Ségara come and do their promotion by launching games of mimes, drawings, musical quizzes or guessing monuments.

If El Kharrat flies over the game, the others manage to exist without blushing, in a good, benevolent mood.

Special mention for the young woman who loves Kayser, a 13-year-old Labrador placed in the SOS plan - he does not incur any adoption costs because of his state of health - who is struggling to move.
