The waters remain troubled in the M5s house in view of Wednesday's confidence vote on the Dragi government.

An appeal "to the pro tempore Chief Politician or in his stead to the Guarantor" to ask, among other things, for a new vote on Rousseau appeared on the net.

The immediate opening of a discussion on Rousseau is requested in order to evaluate, among other things, on the "immediate new consultation, which puts members in the opportunity to express themselves on the basis of an honest, sincere, truthful and real question on the role of the 5 Star Movement in the Draghi Government, and therefore a clear expression of vote of the members, such as to allow the national spokespersons to have no doubts about the political direction of the Assembly to comply with ".

The petition that runs online between the base and which bears the signature of about seventy members of the M5s, parliamentarians such as Barbara Lezzi, Luisa Angrusani, and Bianca Laura Granato and local spokespersons such as Francesca De Vito and Marì Muscarà.

"The loss of credibility as well as compactness, for not having followed up a real and concrete vote on the Draghi government, led to the very serious voluntary removal of Alessandro Di Battista which translates into an immeasurable loss of an exponent who embodied strength propulsive of the Movement, contributing to its creation and formation of identity, from the very beginning ".

They write this in an appeal to return to vote on Rousseau, activists and parliamentarians of the Movement.

In the petition, the subscribers, as members of the M5S, complain that for too many months they have been witnessing "helplessly the consequences of political decisions and choices made from above, which are causing irreversible damage to the image of the Movement, internal cohesion and its roots ". And they recall that the reasons for the birth of the M5S were based on the desire to give control of political choices to citizens, through transparent tools of" participatory democracy "to build" programmatic proposals "and certainly not from" compromises or strategies and political and economic advantages ".

In short, "the alarming figure of the collapse of consensus, which has seen a drastic decrease in polls of at least 50% since 2018, is now under everyone's eyes".

"To demand from our national spokespersons a vote of confidence in the Draghi government and to punish them with expulsion, on the basis of art. 11 of the M5S statute, in case of dissent, is to be considered profoundly illegitimate and unjustified, given the confusion created from the total inconsistency and tendentiousness of the question submitted, with how much one must go to vote in Parliament ".

The subscribers of the petition write it to return to the vote of M5ssu Rousseau members: they do not exclude taking legal action if the required measures are not adopted.

There is in fact the possibility that they can appeal to court to order the renewal of consultations.

As for the possibility of expelling the "objectors", the signatories of the appeal recall "no obligation can be imposed on our spokespersons as the Premier is not an expression of the M5S on the basis of article 3 of the M5S Code of Ethics", nor, much less , for the "manifestation of vote clearly vitiated by an unclear and hypothetical question".

This being the case, "our national spokespersons will therefore have to vote according to conscience" without incurring any subsequent expulsion, but "responding to their personal trust in a government chaired by the one in whom we have never placed great consideration for his past political choices and actions ".
