Valerio Massimo Manfredi improving, out of the coma

The clinical conditions of the writer Valerio Massimo Manfredi are improving, who came out of a pharmacological coma at the 'Misericordia' hospital in Grosseto where he has been hospitalized since 11 February. Manfredi had been suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning. This is learned in the Maremma city where the historian was urgently transferred from Rome due to the availability of a hyperbaric chamber, equipment present in the Grosseto hospital. On 11 February Manfredi was found lifeless in his Rome apartment together with the writer Antonella Prenner, who was also unconscious.
