The reason: "It cannot be ruled out that there are green plastic foreign bodies in the package," the manufacturer told Bayernland.

Bayernland does not state how large the foreign bodies can be.

Depending on this, however, a risk of suffocation cannot be ruled out.

The cheese is packaged in 250 gram bags, labeled “45% fat in dry matter”.

According to the discounter, all packaging with the best before date April 2nd, 2021 is part of the recall *.

Customers who still have the product in their household are asked not to consume it anymore.

The manufacturer also states that the affected cheese packs can be returned to any Norma branch.

A receipt is not necessary for this.

Customers will of course get the purchase price refunded.

“Consumers who own one of the affected articles should no longer use the affected products and bring them back to the trade.” More and more products - especially from the food sector - are being recalled.
