Ron Malka, the father of model Shlomit Malka, is suing Almaz Mengistu and News 13 for a sum of NIS 150,000 - Israel Today has learned.

In an article aired in September last year, it was alleged that Malka's father was promoting his business through his daughter.

"He presents himself as the father of the successful model, acquires the trust of the property owners. But then he stops paying," it was alleged against him in the article.

The lawsuit that reached us reads as follows: "This is a defamatory and offensive article that seems to be the only reason to be of interest to the public is his model daughter.

"It is clear that if the plaintiff had not been his daughter's father, there would have been no journalistic value in it. The article itself is replete with lies and inaccuracies, doing great injustice to the plaintiff. The target was marked in advance and then the arrows were placed around it."

Namor, since the article was published, Mengistu has managed to switch to News 12.
