Covid-19 in France: 272 deaths in hospital in 24 hours and 22,501 positive cases

The number of hospitalizations continues to decline in France, with 25,762 patients this Thursday against 25,929 seven days ago.


The time "is not for slackening", warned the Minister of Health Olivier Véran on Thursday.

There have been 22,501 positive cases in the last 24 hours, compared to 25,018 the day before and 21,063 last week.

The Covid-19 has also caused more than 83,393 deaths in France since the start of the pandemic, according to the latest data from Public Health France.

272 deaths have been counted in the last 24 hours at the hospital.

Against 360 seven days ago.

At the hospital, precisely, 25,762 patients are currently treated as a result of an infection, against 25,929 on Wednesday.

Of this total, 3,384 serious cases are in intensive care, against 3,340 Wednesday and 3,327 last Thursday.

Vaccination continues in France and this Thursday, more than a million people have now received their two doses.
