(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 18 - Shock revelations from singer DemiLovato, a former baby phenomenon, now 28, who revealed that he risked dying after an overdose, the details of which are known in "Demi Lovato: Dancing With the Devil", unadocuserie in four episodes that will debut on March 23 on YouTube Originals.

"My doctors told me that another 10 minutes and I would be dead", this is how Demi Lovato recounts one of the darkest periods of her life: "After an overdose, in 2018, I had three strokes and a heart attack and now I have brain damage, I don't drive and I have difficulty reading ... ", reveals the American singer, in the trailer, shared on social networks, of" Dancing with the Devil ", a documentary about mental health and addictions.


   The overdose that Demi Lovato ended up in in 2018 resulted in the artist having a stroke and a heart attack, leaving her with limitations whose effects have not faded to this day.

"I was left with a cerebral lesion, and I still face its effects today - says the singer -.

Lovato also said that lasting repercussions "are still there to remind me of what might happen if I ever fall back into darkness."


   In the trailer, Demi also shows the shocking image of her tattooed hand connected to an IV and covered with medical adhesive tape, with a hospital band tied around the wrist on which we read Lovato's date of birth, August 20, 1992, as well as the date on which she was hospitalized on 24 July 2018.


   In the trailer Demi tells the various steps of her career, from Disney star to pop star and above all the tumultuous months that led to an overdose, which almost cost her her life.


   Also featured in the video are Demi's mother, Dianna De La Garza, stepfather Eddie, older sister Dallas, 33, and younger step sister Madison, who have always been close to her.
