(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 18 - The Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, met a delegation of trade unions and workers from the Whirlpool site in Naples and assured them that this "will be one of the first disputes he will face".
This was stated by the trade unions at the end of the meeting, explaining that they had asked for a block on layoffs and that the minister, they reported, "immediately sets up a table" not only with Whirlpool, "with the desire to extend the block of redundancies".
