At least 25 civilians and former members of the three armed forces, the Federal Police, the provincial police and the Buenos Aires Penitentiary Service are wanted for

having committed crimes against humanity

and up to 1 million pesos are offered for their whereabouts.

Just over a month after the 45th anniversary of the coup on March 24, 1976, the search for the alleged perpetrators who must be held accountable to the Judiciary continues.

Currently there are

25 fugitives who are wanted by different courts

and federal prosecutors of the country for crimes against humanity for which the State offers for them the payment of rewards of between 500 thousand and 1 million pesos.

"People who can provide data should contact the free telephone line 134, where information is received within the framework of the National Coordination Program for the Search of Persons ordered by the Justice (known as the SEARCH program), dependent on the National Directorate of Judicial Cooperation and Public Ministries ”, they request from the judicial entities.

The Office of the Attorney for Crimes against Humanity drew up a list with the main data of each of the fugitives.

Justice registered fugitives for crimes against humanity in various parts of the country: six in Rosario, five in Mendoza, three in Bahía Blanca and in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, two in La Plata and Mar del Plata, and one in Salta , in San Juan, in Tucumán and in Formosa.

They are eleven former members of the Army, four civilians, a former member of the Buenos Aires Penitentiary Service, three who served in the Navy, two former federal policemen, a former Mendoza policeman, two former Santa Fe policemen and a former member of the Air Force.

The list of 25 fugitives was completed last week with the publication of resolution 54/2021 of the Ministry of National Security in the Official Gazette, which incorporated three new names.

In May, a Rewards Fund was created to pay monetary compensation to people who provide "useful data through reports, testimonies, documentation and any other reliable and / or reliable element or reference, when they are decisive for the arrest of people wanted by the justice that registers judicial order of capture or search of whereabouts, in criminal cases in which crimes against humanity are investigated ".

• Former members of the Army Jorge Gallo Linares (DNI 7,792,845) and Alberto Horacio Silva Julita (DNI 4,393,418) are wanted in the "Báez" case.

• Former provincial police officer Alejandro Vicente Michelutti (DNI 11,827,601) is at large in the case "Police Department - residual D2".
