After letter bombs exploded at two food companies in Baden-Württemberg, the investigators report an initial success.
On Thursday night, another mail item could be intercepted and defused in a parcel distribution center at Munich Airport, said the Heidelberg public prosecutor and the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office.
The shipment was therefore addressed to a food company based in Bavaria.
In the head office of the retailer Lidl in Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg, three people were injured in the explosion in the post office on Wednesday, at the food manufacturer ADM Wild in Eppelheim, according to media reports, an employee the day before.
According to the investigators, the injured have now been able to leave the hospital.
In the meantime, the State Criminal Police Office of Baden-Württemberg and the Heidelberg public prosecutor's office have taken over the investigation.
You now assume that the two acts are related.
A special commission with more than 100 officials is investigating "in full swing".
So far there is no knowledge of the motif.
