Neckarsulm: What is known about the explosion at Lidl headquarters

What happened?

A letter bomb exploded in the post office of the head office of the retailer Lidl in Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg.

Two people were slightly injured and one more seriously injured on Wednesday.

"It's terrible, I don't know what motivates someone to do something like that." He hopes the police will quickly catch the perpetrator or perpetrators.

Is there a connection with similar acts?

According to media reports, a letter bomb exploded at Lidl's food manufacturer ADM Wild one day before the explosion.

According to SWR, the detonation occurred when a package was opened.

The Wild factories are located in Eppelheim near Heidelberg.

The place is about 60 kilometers from Neckarsulm.
