(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 19 - The tests are still increasing and there is a new, limited surge in coronavirus positives in Italy, while the number of daily victims remains high, with the total exceeding even the quota of 95 thousand.
There are 15,479 positive tests recorded in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health (yesterday they were 13,762).
The victims are 353 (yesterday there were 347).
Emilia Romagna announced today that it has eliminated 5 deaths from the data of the last few days.
297,128 tests (molecular and antigenic) were carried out (yesterday there were 288,458). The positivity rate is 5.2%, compared to 4.8% yesterday, therefore with an increase of 0.4% in 24 hours. Intensive care patients are increasing, while those in ordinary wards are decreasing. 2,059 people are hospitalized in resuscitation, with an increase of 14 units in the daily balance between entries and exits. Daily admissions were 151. In the ordinary wards 17,831 people are hospitalized with symptoms, down 132 units compared to yesterday.
