The total number of infected since the beginning of the epidemic thus rises to 325,789, that of the dead to 9,701.

The figure for hospital admissions also falls: today 1,211 Covid patients are found in normal medical wards (-30);

finally, the number of patients in intensive care remains stable, 133.

English variant, 2 other red areas in Lazio

The ordinances of the Lazio Region have ordered the maximum restriction measures for Colleferro and Carpineto, two municipalities in the province of Rome.

In Lazio, the red zone has already been activated for Roccagorga in the province of Latina.

 - 85% of the cases diagnosed in Italy since the beginning of the pandemic have been diagnosed in 10 regions: Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, Campania, Piedmont, Lazio, Sicily, Tuscany, Puglia and Liguria.

Eight regions (Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Marche, Abruzzo, PA Bolzano, Umbria, Sardinia, Calabria and PA Trento) reported between 30,000 and 70,000 cases;

three regions / PA (Basilicata, Valle d'Aosta and Molise) reported less than 15,000 cases each.
