Why do women need more hours of sleep than men?

("Story in a Minute" system)

So true, on the net you will find countless effective (more or less) methods to deal with insomnia but while many of them will require you to concentrate on breathing or stare at certain items, the following method suggests concentrating as little as possible and thus falling asleep as quickly as possible.

A psychology student shared with Tiktok the life-changing trick she received from her professor and swore he had managed to cure her insomnia completely.

It also promises that not only is it very simple to perform, it also gets you down in just 5 minutes, even though those who have already tried it said they were able to fall asleep within a minute.

The student turned to Tiktok, where she used to share many learning tricks like "How to drastically improve your memory for exams" and other interesting facts about psychology, and shared the tip that helped her get rid of insomnia.

In a video that garnered nearly 4 million views, a voice was heard saying, "My psychology professor revealed to me the trick that helps fall asleep in five minutes. It cured my insomnia."

In the video, she explains that the magic solution is to make lists of items in your head - but you need to make sure the items are random and unrelated.

That is, just throw names of objects that come to mind without thinking too much.

She also gave an example: "Potatoes, Tarzan and Violin."

She added: "The more random it is, the better."

The video received more than half a million likes and several thousand floating comments that were eager to try for themselves.

One tried to explain: "The idea is to just bore yourself to death."

Another added: "I understand the concept. The harder you try to fall asleep, the harder it is, so if you throw random things in your head, you fall asleep faster."

Tuesday promised: "I'll try it tonight. A must."

Those who tried thanked her later.

"It really works, I did it last night after watching this video and it worked," one wrote and another added: "I have never fallen asleep so fast in my life. It seems to me in a minute."

There were also those who rejected the idea.

One wrote: "My brain will just try to find the connections between the items. It will not work" and another user wrote: "To throw unrelated items I will just have to concentrate more. It is the exact opposite of having to clear my head to fall asleep".
