Seven years after the wedding in Florence, Kardashian has filed for divorce in the Superior Court in Los Angeles.

Although the couple often appeared together (here around 2016 at the Met Gala in New York) and both often made public their love for each other, the relationship had long been considered conflicting.

US media had already reported the couple's breakup in early January.

Details about the background are not yet known.

The couple's appearances, whether at gala evenings or Instagram photos, were almost always carefully staged - and not least part of a business model: Kardashian increased her fame in the show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", in which she and her family took part granted insights into her private life between 2007 and 2020.
