Cortina: special gold slalom at Foss-Solevaag, Vinatzer 4 / o

Norwegian double with Kristoffersen's bronze, Silver to Pertl (ANSA) In the special world slalom, the last race in Cortina 2021, gold went to the Norwegian Sebastian Foss -Solevaag in 1.46.48, 29 years and a cup victory. It was from Sestriere 1997 that, with Tom Stiansen, Norway had not won this title.     Silver to the Austrian Adrian Pertl in 1.46.69 and bronze to the other Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen in 1.46.95. In the special world slalom, the last race in Cortina 2021, gold went to the Norwegian Sebastian Foss -Solevaag in 1.46.48, 29 years and a cup victory.

For the Scandinavians they are the first individual medals in these world championships after gold in the team competition.

Fourth place in 1.47.68 for the young blue Italian Alex Vinatzer who was second after the first heat.

    After the most important event of the year, the competitive season for alpine skiing is not over yet and the world cup is back in a few days. From Friday to Sunday the women will be in Val di Fassa for two descents and a super-G. The men will compete on Saturday and Sunday in Bansko, Bulgaria, with two giant slaloms.
