(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 21 - As expected, on the Roman coast it is a "spring" Sunday that repeats the large turnout already recorded yesterday.

Since the early morning there has been a sustained movement of people, attracted by the sun and by the expected temperature over 15 degrees, walking along the seafront of Ostia, Fiumicino and Fregene.

Ditto on the Darsena and along the canal port of Fiumicino and in the wide avenues of the Ostia tourist port where, moreover, the restaurants have registered full reservations for lunch since last Wednesday.

A similar trend is widespread in restaurants and catering establishments and kiosks, with gastronomy services, all over the coast, with preferences for outdoor tables or by the sea shore.

Alternatively, there are those who have organized themselves with sack lunches and picnics on the beach, where they take advantage of the off-season primatarella and games.

Many families with children.

The cycle paths are also popular as are many appearances in the pine forest of Castel Fusano.

   Strict use of masks observed.

The influx of vehicles leaving the Via Aurelia (towards Fregene) and the Rome-Fiumicino motorway is gradually marked towards Fiumicino or Ostia, depending on the directions.

On the Fiumicino coast, the device of eight patrols of the local police, in coordination with the other forces of the order, up to 11 pm and about thirty volunteers, from 8 to 19, to check on compliance with anti Covid measures and for traffic.
