Lille lawyer Jean-Yves Moyart, known under the name of Maître Mô - especially on social networks and on his blog - died this Saturday, at the age of 53, from the consequences of "a long illness", according to La Voix du Nord.

A shock, in the legal environment where he was well established since taking the oath in 1992. The lawyer, father of three children, was also responsible for the criminal law training module within the CFPA of Lille for seven years and member of the Bar Council twice.

As the daily specifies, he was also very involved in the recent battles led by lawyers, such as the revaluation of legal aid or against the pension reform.

There are the elegant, the talented, the generous, the party-goers, the courageous, the cracked-up letting the light shine through, but I haven't known any other lawyer who is all of these at the same time.

You made people good because you had humanity engraved in your heart.

Outside the courts, Jean-Yves Moyart had made himself known under the name of Maître Mô thanks to a blog of judicial chronicles created in 2008. His writings had been collected in a book, “Au guet-apens”, released in 2011 His pseudonym, the lawyer also used it for his Twitter account, on which he was very active.

In her writings, the black dress stood out for its ability to use words and describe situations, but also for its humor.

If one day I die, which would surprise me sincerely, do not say my supposed qualities or do not recall what I did or said;

say that you miss me, that you would like to love me again or laugh with me, or say nothing at all.

Finally, without ordering you.
