Scary pictures from United Airlines Flight 328. The machine was on its way to Hawaii when the right engine failed shortly after take-off in Denver.

Bob Brown filmed the burning engine on his cell phone.

You heard that and everything started to shake.
I was sitting right on the wing, so I looked out and saw smoke.
And I knew immediately that something was wrong. "
The plane made an emergency landing in Denver, nobody was injured.
However, numerous debris fell on a residential area in Broomfield, a suburb of Denver.
Larger pieces of the engine cowling ended up in the garden of a house, other aircraft parts on a sports field.

“There are usually hundreds of people in this park when it's not so cold.
The fact that we still have no reports of injuries is shocking.
It's really amazing. "
The US Air Traffic Control Authority said it would open an investigation into the incident.
The Broomfield police called on residents not to touch the debris so as not to obstruct the investigation.
