In the zoo in the Lower Saxony city of Osnabrück, a lion attacked an animal keeper.
As the "Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung" and the "Bild" newspaper unanimously report, the woman suffered injuries.
According to the reports, the police confirmed the incident, which should have occurred shortly after eleven thirty noon.
The employee was therefore working in the animal enclosure when one of them went into attack.
How exactly this came about is not yet known.
There is also no information about the severity of the injuries.
