Clubhouse is growing: it has exceeded 8 million downloads, on February 1st it had only 3.5 million.
This is the data reported by the analysis company App Annie.
Of these 4.5 million more downloads recorded in recent weeks, 2.6 million were in the US alone.
The app is currently only available for iOS, Apple's operating system for iPhone and iPad.
In these two weeks, characters like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have landed on Clubhouse, thus making adoptions skyrocket.
Meanwhile, Facebook, as the New York Times wrote in recent days, is planning to launch a service that would compete with the voice-only platform.
While Twitter already has its Clubhouse: it's called Spaces, it is being tested on iOS and in March it also arrives on Android, the very operating system on which Clubhouse is not available.
On Spaces you can program chats, the "spaces" in fact, with a certain number of listeners.
